"I can’t say enough good things about this place. The staff were so incredibly friendly, it was easily accessible from the city centre by the number 7, 14 or 11 buses and it’s quiet. The bed was super comfy and all other amenities were excellent. I was pretty jet lagged so I appreciated coming to this quiet area and resting. Thank you for everything and I will for sure be back!"

"We loved our stay on the Ocean Mist - a lovingly restored boat! Our room was on the small side, but we had a full king size bed and the most comfortable sheets! The bathroom was sparklingly clean with really cool tiles. Lovely setting for breakfast, with views on the water. Super friendly staff who are all very knowledgeable about the boat's history. "The castle is set in a beautiful estate and has many facilities such as sauna, pool and equestrian centre. our room was very clean and comfortable and near to the bistro where we had our evening meal and a delicious breakfast the next morning. the receptionist was very helpful and we even met the owner of the castle who showed us around the main restaurant. Naturally, as befitting a castle, it has lots of character. We only had one night but are planning on going back. The castle is nearby many...

"Arriving late on a dark evening, it looked unwelcoming - but the lass on reception made up for that! The room was large and warm, with wooden furniture, and the "curtains" were wooden shutters: it felt friendly. Characterful: the ceiling must have been about 4m up, an a bit of box trim (proably hiding pipework) made a useful seat or low shelf. Everything worked. The station was a 5 minute walk, town centre likewise. I'd go back if in the area again."

"Ideally placed on the tram link from.airport but still walkable up to the port and into the city. Lots of dining options on Leith road. Room was just as needed for a 2 night stop over to explore the area. "

"Happy with the stay, would like to have the website updated as stated breakfast available but this is no longer an option. Bed was hard compared to my normal bed, although that could just be my preference. Luke and Andy, fantastic hosts. Would be happy to return but would choose ensuite facilitates next time. "

There were also food-to-go options if you are in a hurry and don't have enough time to seat down and have your breakfast. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. "
