"Sarah described it best as a “diamond in the rough”. What an amazing little corner of residential cottages/houses. A beautiful quiet beach on the West side of Barbados. All the amenities we needed. All appliances worked well. Sarah was in touch to update us. It was nice to have two full bathrooms. I appreciate the little touches. "This property is in a great very safe location, close to a supermarket and a 2 minute walk to a beautiful beach. From where it’s situated you can easily get to anywhere using public transport, the bus stop is down the bottom of the road which is a fun way to see the island. "We recently spent Feb 8-17 at the Belvedere. Dario(concierge) and Brian (owner) were there to greet us on arrival and give us a lay of the land. Wyndham Grand Barbados Sam Lords Castle All Inclusive Resort

"The food and staff at this resort was amazing. I really appreciated the hospitality here. Everything was great. The only thing this resort lacked was entertainment during the day. As well as there being no swim up bar :( once those two factors have been added in this resort would be 10/10 for me. "

"Ocean Spray Apartments was one of the most amazing stays we had at Barbados. The view to the Ocean was fantastic, we rented a studio room and were not left disappointed. The studio had all the amenities interms of utensils and we self catered so it was perfect. The check in experience was amazing Rochelle and Jas were great and provided us great recommendations on the local area and things to do nearby. I was a bit worried looking at the reviews but you need to understand that this is not a 5* all-inclusive resort, but rather an apart hotel, so please keep this in mind when you book. The place is perfect if you want to stay at a nice quiet place but amazingly close to the sea and definitely value for money. The nice surprise was that they had housekeeping, which was wonderful and not something you get in other apartments. There is good public transport links close to the property but I would highly recommend renting a car to enjoy this location fully as it may seem slightly isolated otherwise. We met the owner, Mr.Patel who was very warm and welcoming. He explained to us the future upgrades they are making (Restaurant and a pool) which will really elevate the place and we can't wait to return. Overall I would highly recommend a stay there, particularly if you research the area well and have planned your visit. "
