"I loved being almost next to the beach in a quiet neighborhood where I could hear the waves crashing at night as I fell asleep. I would recommend reading all the reviews which cover everything about the unit. I rated it a 4 because it is not quite as pristine as the pictures show (the unit itself is very clean) especially the deck outside the door, and also because the parking was really challenging (as expected, but still a hassle) and the couch needs replacing. But if you accept these items...

"We loved our stay here! The place was clean and cozy. The bed was comfortable, and we had everything we needed. We cooked everyday, and had a little trouble with the stove at first, but Ryan kindly came over to show us how to operate it. Their place is close to everything-the beach, restaurants, airport and train station. Restaurants and beaches are very close within walking distance. You do not need a car to stay here. We can’t wait to come back!"

"We enjoyed the space of this two-bedroom apartment, above a coffee shop. It's about 2 blocks to the beach, and two blocks in the other direction to the bay. Best of all, it's right on a bus line. We were very happy to be car-less in San Diego, using buses and Lyfts was both cheaper and less stressful than renting and driving a car. "

"The LOCATION is the absolute best for this little gem. Beds are super comfy! Bathroom was very tiny, but completely doable. Owners responsive. Olives cafe was just around the corner and had delicious breakfast. Cheap rentals was very friendly and convenient to the beach. Would recommend! "

"We enjoyed staying here. We chose it initially based on the location to the beach and boardwalk. This is great for watching sunsets and for evening strolls along the ocean. Good restaurants within walking distance. The property itself was comfortable. We enjoyed the kitchen, living room area, and smart tv. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash which was nice. Since you do reuse towels, it would have been better to have more towel bars in the bathroom for better...

"WOW! WOW! WOW! Book this place today. Beautiful Gull's Rest was the perfect spot. Myself and 6 sisters stayed here for a long weekend and it was the best spot There wasn't one complaint. The Condo was exactly as described. OOPS on US! We did rent a large SUV and just as described in the listing it did not fit in the tandem 2 car garage. We stayed in January so we didn't have to much trouble finding street parking. Kitchen was well stocked and clean. Washer and dryer with soap was a nice...
