"Perfect location for walking to shops, restaurants and bars. I called the week before our arrival and asked for restaurant recommendations for New Years Eve and the front desk referred us to the Brassiere Louis (connected to the hotel) which was lacking in service and more than twice what other restaurants charged for an evening meal. Disappointed that they stated they had Airport Transfer but we were charge $75.00 for a 15 minute ride -- taxi service would have only been $25.00"

"Charming "little" boutique hotel. Our room felt kind of like a dorm room, but that was fine. Breakfast was available, but with no "cooked" items (bacon, eggs, waffles, etc.) Safe, quiet neighborhood with the tram within 2 blocks. Very friendly staff. Would recommend!"

"Don’t bother looking to stay anywhere else than the Hotel Central when visiting Luzern; it’s conveniently situated a short walk from both the station and Old Town. The staff were all delightful and went out of their way to help us enjoy our stay, nothing was too much trouble. The generous and delicious breakfasts were a great start to the day and it was great to be able to enjoy complimentary (good) coffee at any time. The rooms were perfectly comfortable and very clean - all in all our visit to Luzern was made all the better for staying at Hotel Central. "
