"The riad is located a few minuets walk from the road on the side of a hill with spectacular views of the Atlas Mountains. The owner and staff are very knowledgable and helpful. The mountain guide they arranged for me was very good. The building is very basic and was rather cold when I stayed. However, it was spotlessly clean. For a stay in an authentic mountain village for those who don't need home comforts, this is a great place."

We had reserved a room for 7 only to find out the largest available was for 4. "This is not a hotel as it serves as an excellent base for Toubkal mountain climbers and indeed other trekkers. There are rooms which are dorms and although the other rooms are clean it does not feel like a hotel much more like a hostel. Having said that, Rashid is a fab guy and only wants the best for you and we met some really interesting people especially other Moroccans on holiday and other nationalities there for trekking and climbing.
