"Best hotel in the Otavalo area, with an outstanding view and a very caring service. The fireplace was a particularly nice touch that you don't often find in hotels. While the location and the staff cannot be faulted, the hotel clearly need some renovations in the spa and common areas. Also the rooms could do with a bit more equipment (although the staff did provide everything we asked for). The two local guardian dogs Mia and Tia are incredibly friendly, and the surrounding area is very nice...

"The two things that stand out to me that I thought were top notch were the convenience of the location and the excellent service by everyone who worked there. The room was not above average but everything else was. I enjoyed having breakfast on the patio each morning and I loved sitting in the garden right outside my door. "Great 'farm' hotel in rustic style and in quiet environment. We liked the food, home made (including the bread for the breakfast!), the service (half hour horse riding for the entire family was included in the room price), and the rural setting of the hotel overall. The swimming pool was warm, filled with volcan hot spring water. One comment: signing on the road is not really clear, especially if you arrive by night. Road from Ibarra (approx. 45 min) is in good condition and safe."
