"The hotel was near the Itsukushima Shrine, just around 5-min walk. Although it's not near the ferry port, the hotel provided a shuttle service upon arrival and departure. The staffs were so friendly and polite to us. The hotel itself felt quite historic, and as its name implies, it combines the beautiful views together, which you can see just from the window. "The property is so close to the train station / ferry! We had a excellent stay, and it was great value for money. The only con is that there aren't any restaurants at walking distance. But we only stayed for a night, and highly recommend it!"

Wonderful place on a beautiful island

"LiveMax hotel on Miyajima was a the perfect place for an overnight trip. Perfectly situated close to the ferry station and walkable to all the sights on the island. They rent bicycles if needed. The dinner buffet was insane (mad rush to the sushi and beef for yakitori at the table) but it was a unique experience to say the least. Delicious food provided. We had excellent customer service during the check in and check out process. You are assigned a locker for outdoor shoes upon arrival and have to wear the provided leather slippers while on site. The room was extremely spacious (for Japan standards) and the 2 waters provided were appreciated. "
