"Overall, my stay was good. My room and the common areas were rather chilly, probably owing to the loss of natural gas from Russia, but the situation did not cause any concern for me. My room and the common areas were clean, but the elevators could use some cleaning. The breakfast buffet provides a good selection. The property is within walking distance of the Hamburg Hbf and a U-Bahn station, making driving unnecessary."

"This place is perfect for a family or group holiday : big rooms, perfect wifi, price OK. Enough choices in the neighborhood for breakfast/dining. Close to public transport. I was travelling for business and therefore the hotel was not so suited for me. But I should have payed more attention when booking = my fault. Staff very friendly and helpful ! "

"The hostel location was really close to Buchenkamp U-Bahn station. ALDI supermarket was at the end of the road. The communication, via email and text messages, before arrival with the property manager was very good and the pre-arrival were instructions very clear (albeit some communication was in German). "Rezeption nie besetzt. Checkin steht auf Webseite 17 Uhr, ich komme an. Der Rezeptionist kommt um 18 Uhr mit der Mitteilung dass checkin erst um 18 uhr ist. Dabei hing am Brett der Zettel ebenfalls mit 17 Uhr. Konnte ich eine Stunden warten. Dann war das eine WC von oben bis unten vollgebrochen oder fäkal verunreinigt für einen Tag.
