"Soooo the motel is in the middle of reconstruction. The rooms are great, modern, big, comfortable beds, lovely floors in bathroom, good amenities. Microwave, fridge coffeemaker, big tv. The other parts of motel are being remodeled. I did not like being asked how long i was going to wait for my brother in the lounge because “ it wasn’t for sitting around) or something to the effect, when i had been there 35 minutes. Extremely rude and very inhospitable "

"I'm glad that the listing no longer includes breakfast in the amenities list, because there is none. Owner did make some good restaurant recommendations when asked. A surprising lacking amenity was shampoo/conditioner, so take your own -- this is a budget hotel, quaint (decked out for the season) and sufficient. "The room was clean except the toilet seat had sticky stuff on it. It did wash off fine. It was bare bones but worth the cost. It did have a small microwave, mini frig and newer type TV. It was a bit drafty and in the morning I could see light coming from around the door. But the heater kept the room warm. All in all for the price I paid per night was worth it. I would recommend it to someone just looking for a bed and no frills. "
