"Beautiful place surrounded by unique nature and history. The adjacent historical porcelain factory and related buildings, like the church, are preserved exquisitely and well worth a visit. The setting on the river makes for a serene and relaxing stay. The breakfast buffet has quite a good selection of Portuguese delicacies. "

"Very walkable, convenience store close-by. Canal & boats about 10-15 min easy walk. Reakfasr is excellent. Comfortable room-we didn’t have much of a view but didn’t matter as in room to allow. Comfortable bed, crisp linens. Very enjoyable stay Be certain to take one of the boat rides, we did it @ sunset & it was unique. Planned to do a walking tour in am but person cancelled @ last minute."
