"Every floor had a unique theme. You are welcomed with a free coffee at the adjoining cafe and a gift of lavender oil. The staff helped me with tickets and restaurant recommendations. They had a complimentary mini bar. The rooms were bright and spacious and comfortable. The location was about 200 from the Mevlana museum and offered stellar views from their rooftop terrace. It's probably the coolest boutique hotel I have stayed at."

"Great access to the Bazaar and sites, however the hotel was dirty, including ranched towels. The shower head damaged and leaking. Very poor wifi connection in my room. During my two nights a worker banging away in the next room until midnight. No consideration for the hotel users !"

"Very amiable host. Catered for our comfort and was very lenient, patient. Though there are some improvements to be made to the room, like wardrobe, but everything that mother and I asked for was granted. It was reasonably clean altogether. Ismaïl Uncle and all his family members are great hosts. It was very near to all services and our interested point of attraction. I highly recommend this hotel. "

"The value for money is perfect. The stuff is very kind and helpful. Location is also good. Just few steps from the doorway and you find shops, bars, tourist attractions like the Mevlana museum. I was happy and satisfied with the service. "

"Kind of a seedy neighborhood. There are some casual dining spots, several bakeries, and a large grocery nearby. The breakfast was great. The only parking is on the street where ever you can find a spot. "

"Great place in the middle of downtown Konya. Parking was easy underneath the hotel. Sauna/steam room/hamam and massage combination was simply amazing. Super clean and professional staff. Well done Selcuk Hotel. "

"Araf Hotel is in the heart of Konya's Mevlana district with many convinient walkable access to shopping, dining and attraction options. The hotel vibe is very Bohemian in a good way. The suite rooms are on the small side and traffic/parking is challenging. The room and hallway carpets could use a refresh. Breakfast is included. Overall a good hotel that meets the needs of a short stay in Konya while providing an interesting vibe and convinient location. "

"We had a lovely stay, excellent breakfast, and a helpful welcoming host! My only pause is that the photos shown on the listing are actually of the inner courtyard of the hotel rather than it's exterior entrance. I think they probably did this intentionally because the neighborhood is a bit time-worn, and when we arrived, the disparity between what we expected to see from the listing photos and the building itself gave us the uneasy feeling that we'd arrived at the wrong place, or that something fishy was afoot. That said, the building is an elegant, timber-frame work of art with 12 foot ceilings, a lovely courtyard, and an excellent restaurant and we would stay there again with out any hesitation!"
