"We booked this hotel at the last minute for a long weekend getaway in Provence. While we didn't really need the amenities of a residence hotel (kitchen, laundry, etc), I could see how it would be a great advantage for people staying for a week, particularly with families. For our needs, the hotel was well-situated, comfortable and clean. The receptionist was charming, with many good ideas for restaurants and activities in the area. "The pool was too cold to swim in. The pool snack bar was closed all week. You can’t eat or drink around the pool and if you leave the pool area which is gated you can’t return for ten minutes. The accommodation was basic and dirty, we had to ask to move rooms. All up big hills so no good for anyone wi to mobility issues. No air conditioning. The shop was good but expensive. Remote location, need a car or Ubers become expensive. The pool of it was warm enough to swim in would have been amazing....

But if you don’t take all the rooms in any villa, you may very well find yourself with neighbours in a room within the villa, though they will not be in the space you are occupying. We hade 2 of the 3 rooms in the villa. So we had the living room and kitchen space with our 2 bedrooms and a really nice balcony. But the 3 room in the villa was rented out to others.
