"Easy access to beach and river for the little ones, mostly sand which was great. Cabin with two bunks was almost too warm overnight with 2 adults and 2 children though. Friendly, helpful staff."

"We only had one night but it was a fun experience for my family. My adult kids loved the history and vintage kiwi items. It was an experience to sleep so close to the ocean."

Lovely Little Bush Bach
"A well aged puzzle piece bach, in NZ forest, tucked down a dead end road. Surprising amount of traffic on the road during our stay. Neighbours were quite noisy also but the bach had everything we needed. Hot water for a shower was a bonus. The old Shacklock range is prone to smoking out the bach ..."
