"L'endroit est fantastique. Les hôtes sont chaleureux et tellement attentionnés. La vue est spectaculaire. Nous avions deux galeries pour profiter de l'extérieur. "It was uniquely terrible. Access was beyond terrible. No vehicular access and a long long steep uphill path of steps and rough concrete. Impossible for anybody with the slightest walking issues. The house is situated in a building site. The garden is a total mess. The pool is unkept. The free public parking is a plain fabrication. The room shower is rough concrete. "Der Gastgeber Mohammed war sehr zuvorkommend, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Er half sowohl beim Taxitransfer organisieren als auch bei unserem notwendigen Bike-Wash. Die Unterkunft ist einfach aber sehr sauber und hat alles was wir brauchten. Frühstück wird im Inneren eingenommen."

"Great View of the mountains. Nice Place but bé aware that it is a bit of a walk uphill through some untended terrain at times in Case you have heavy suitcases. Not sure if we were Too early or late in the season but we were the only ones in this accommodation and some of the lights were not working. The staff were excellent as was the dinner!"

"Great place, though A hike from nearest village. Friendly service. Clean accommodations given remote location. Mattresses hit and miss. We had four mattresses and one felt like it was stuffed with sand. "

We are city folks so for us it was a couple of days to be able to dis connect and be in tune with the nature. Imlil is a serious trekking town but we are not hard core trekkers. "What a special place. Not only the location and views, but the staff were so lovely, warm welcoming, couldn't do enough to help. Everything was spotlessly clean. The room was lovely. So much character around the hotel. The pool is just big enough for little lengths and perfect in the heat. Beautiful gardens. Amazing value for money. Only 1hr from airport, taxi organised by the hotel. We carried on using the same taxi driver during our stay. "

"The villa was lovely, very clean and had that Moroccan feel. We asked for a housekeeper for our stay which was great, local dishes, breakfast lunch and dinner made the stay extra special. A beautiful pool but in December was very cold which was to be expected. Host’s very responsive to any questions or requests. Overall a great Villa, you will need a car to make the most of the Moroccan experience."

Perfect mountain escape but quick to get to.

The Moroccan cuisine, lovingly prepared by a wonderful lady, was a highlight of our stay—every dish, especially the tagines, was an absolute delight. The setting of Relais Esmeralda is enchanting, combining tranquility, comfort, and authentic decor that invites relaxation. The suites are spacious, elegantly decorated, and provide all the comfort needed for a restful stay. We also loved the activities on offer, particularly the quad and buggy excursion to the Agafay desert, a truly memorable adventure. Located just 35 km from Marrakech, this peaceful haven is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the Atlas Mountains. We were captivated by this magical place and can't wait to return."

Beautiful property overlooking the lake

"Absolutely amazing property. Such wonderful attention to detail in the architecture, layout, location. The common spaces are so peaceful and beautiful. Lovely pools. Rooms immaculately clean and well furnished in cool style. All the staff, from the restaurant to the housekeepers were so kind and helpful, and of course professional. Only negative point was the food which was a bit overpriced for what it was. Otherwise a lovely place we'd certainly be happy to visit again. "
