"Overall, a great place to stay in Lagos if you're on a budget. It is a nice, small hotel located off a quiet street on Victoria Island - this is important as several of the hotels in the area either have night clubs on their premises or nearby which makes a good night sleep fairly impossible. The staff is wonderful and very accommodating - they jumped right on every request (e.g. laundry service, wifi issue, etc.) and also stored my luggage when I was traveling for a week. "I booked a Classic room and was presented with a dark, dirty room with tattered pillowcases, tired bedding, a distinctly broken bedside telephone, a lighting fixture hanging by its electrical cord above the bed, and a generally depressing ambiance. "Friendly and professional staff. Duplex apartment was nice with its own kitchenette. However there was no running hot water, it only comes in a bucket on request.
