Best ever!
Came for a weekend trip with adult family and we unanimously agreed this was our favorite rental we’ve ever experienced. Everything was amazing and such easy check in/out. Beds are comfortable, kitchen is well stocked, house is updated and beautiful, views are out of this world. We loved every minute of it and will be back!

Peaceful getaway close to plenty!
This property is absolutely beautiful and the view is breathtaking! We were looking for a place that was secluded and quiet but close enough to the places we wanted to experience, and this place delivered! Andrew was very communicative and responsive, and we had everything we needed to thoroughly enjoy our stay! We highly recommend this property!! Great Mountain Views
We really enjoyed staying here and will definitely be coming back. The location is just right- it feels remote but is only about 45 minutes from Denver. Great mountain views from the patio and also from pretty much every room in the house. The house is beautiful, too. Modern and very roomy with lots of big windows. Overall it was exactly the mountain getaway we were looking for.

Amazing Stay
Absolutely gorgeous property if you’re looking for something secluded and quaint. All of the amenities you could need for a reunion with friends. Access to the mountains, trails, town, casino, all while being 1hr away from Denver International. You know it’s good when you simply enjoy the ride up the driveway. 10/10 would recommend

Beautiful place and location. Perfect for all our needs. Owner is super nice and helpful. Don’t forget to ask for where the moose was last. Also, 3 different dogs came to the property but they were all super friendly. Just looking for attention and treats!

This property did not disappoint. You are in the mountains and it is so quiet. The property manager is very proactive in his communication with you and ensuring all is well. If renting during the winter months make sure to have an AWD vehicle. My family and I have vacationed in many houses and states. This one we actually miss. Hoping that our travels bring us back.

Spectacular
The views are absolutely amazing. The homeowner was an excellent communicator, pleasant, knowledgeable and just an all around nice guy. The home has everything you will need and is very well done. Beautiful place! There are plenty of things to do close by such as white water rafting, hiking, biking, SaintMarys glacier…The home and surroundings are so spectacular you may choose to just hang out and enjoy this beautiful place! We will be back soon.

Outstanding get away
We rented this property hoping to have a secluded winter experience! That is just what we received. Despite his intentions, we had the honor of meeting the property owner as he was plowing snow from the roads. This truly was an honor! He was very professional, very friendly, and went well beyond what could have ever been expected to insure our comfort and happiness. If you want a great place to get off the grid, this is your spot!

This is hands down the best place to stay! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed this home and it's amazing views! We got to see the moose and made friends with the neighbors dog. Very secluded, great communication from the host, breathing all the way around! We celebrated our 25 year anniversary here and will come back! Oh yeah and my Honda Civic sports car made it up this mountain with ease in September! Snow would have changed things so keep that in mind before heading up.

Phenomenal VRBO - Perfect for a Getaway
On short notice, we learned we had to get back to Colorado for a family matter. I needed to find the perfect place that would be relatively close to Denver, but also be ideal as a spot to "work remote" as I had to squeeze five days of meetings into 2 1/2 days while not doing familty activities. This house was perfect. It would be a great place for anyone or any family wanting to find something that is close to Interstate 70, but yet remote in feel. As a family we hiked Mt. Pisgah which is 5 minutes away and that was phenomenal. This VRBO is GREAT and would be an ideal place for 100+ different purposes. The owner is GREAT and incredibly responsive for any questions or needs.

Best Little Gem in the Rockies!
This home is a sweet gem tucked away in the mountain with spectacular views, hiking trails and clean air. At nighttime you can see all of the stars and satellites in space. Our extended family stayed for several days having plenty of room to play, relax, grill out on the patio and make s'mores in the fire pit. The home is newly remodeled, very clean, well stocked and beautifully furnished; comfy too. The host lives nearby and is very responsive to any questions or needs. We would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for a spectacular getaway. It is also close enough to town to make trips in for dining, shopping and recreation. This is your little gem in the Rockies!

Awesome Hidden Gem
The stay was great. The property manager was very nice and accommodating. The hill is very steep so having chains during snowy season has got to be a must. We made it up just fine but got lucky with the weather. The only issue was the beds. We did inform the owner (he asked if we would change anything) and he took that into account. Seems like the kind of guy to change them out. Aside from that, the off grid was great and the home had no issues in feeling complete with any power needs. Internet worked great as well. I would recommend staying here if you are looking to avoid touristy areas but still want a beautiful place to be.

The absolute best mountain getaway
What a wonderful place! It is absolutely gorgeous and the house is so comfortable and homey. Andrew was so helpful and communicative. It was our first trip with our young kids and I was a bit nervous because of all the stuff to remember. It was so so helpful that Andrew took care of some things for us that made our stay so much easier - all we had to do was ask. This is the perfect spot for a family or a weekend away for a couple or a girls weekend. It’s so versatile. It is clean and well-kept and they thought of just about everything. I can’t wait to come back the next time we need a little mountain getaway. It’s a perfect midway point between Denver and the rest of the mountains. I can’t say enough good things about this place!

The Crow's Nest...Is the Best
I spent a solid month searching rental apps for the perfect cabin/home in which to celebrate my lover’s birthday. My search criteria included a location that was romantic, remote, affordable, and one that was far from any city lights so we could stargaze while wrapped up in a blanket and each other’s arms. The Crow’s Nest in Idaho Springs checked all the boxes and then some. Our stay was not only perfect, it was extraordinary. Upon our arrival, we were pleased to discover that the property was remote as advertised. The location and the view are stunning to the point of being sublime. We stood on the patio and gazed out over the sprawling meadow below, the beautiful mountains, and the stands of aspens quaking in the gentle afternoon breeze. The house appears to be newly renovated. The floor plan was designed to complement and make the most of the picturesque views. Bravo to the architect. The night sky was filled with bright stars and very discernable constellations. We spent both evenings out on the patio next to the fire pit, staring upward into the heavens. Romanic? Hell, yes. Our stay at The Crow’s Nest was perfect, romantic, and without any disappointments. We can’t recommend this property and its owners more highly. Thank you, Andrew and Megan, for making our stay and our Birthday Celebration amongst the stars so memorable. P.S. The home is beautiful with an incredible view. It was so peaceful, and we loved our time there. Everything was immaculate, and the owners provided everything we needed and more (there were even beautiful fresh flowers on the dining table). Our kids had so much fun exploring and watching the hummingbirds and squirrels playing. We can’t recommend it highly enough!

Beautiful Mountain Getaway
This property is amazing. It had everything you could need for a mountain vacation. Andrew was awesome to work with and we would stay here again. Location is close to Idaho Springs and a short drive from Denver. All the activities we wanted to do were a short drive. The views from the house were beautiful. We are now tempted to move there.
