Join us at Angel’s Landing where you hear nothing but the Aspens quake in the gentle breeze…and maybe some curious baby foxes foraging for food or the resident moose and deer mewing as they wander across our drive.
Welcome to our fully off-the-grid mountain hideaway, which may become your place of peace, quiet and respite in the Rockies as you rest, relax and restore…before embarking from here to your next mountain adventure!
This ground floor of a beautiful home is a great place to stay and explore the foothills.

Although we live up a county-maintained road, it is dirt, very steep and gets bad washboards (bumps) regularly. From June through August, a front-wheel drive car is enough; however, from September to May is REQUIRED to be traveling in a vehicle that provides either AWD or AWD capabilities. Owner/Property Manager will NOT be available or able to provide rides up or down the road. Since we are fully off-grid, WE CANNOT ACCOMODATE ELECTRIC VEHICLES. Please ensure your rental car is not EV-only. No refund will be provided if you arrive in an EV or if you don't have an AWD/4WD and your vehicle won’t make it up the road.
Video Monitoring on site.
No smoking inside the home.
This is a pet friendly apartment but there is a $50 pet fee per pet
We are at 9000’ elevation in the mountains, fully OFF-GRID, with well-water, solar-powered electricity, septic and propane. We respectfully request that you honor those systems and conserve water, power and sewer usage during your stay. Our septic is very sensitive, NOTHING goes into toilets or drains besides toilet paper...and your business, of course.
Please be aware, be kind, don’t steal our stuff and help us conserve. We are excited to have you stay and hope you have a wonderful, peaceful rest…up here with the angels…come on up and relax…
