"I would highly recommend this property. Everything was just as perfect as the pictures showed. Each room was well stocked and clean. I cannot say enough positive things about the host, Nan. She was attentive and made the check in process so easy. The fishing and kayaking were fabulous the.downstairs basement was a great entertaining area. Lots to do. We will definitely be back. "

"My group of five adults came to Caddo for a 5-day fishing trip. This house was perfect! It was a nice central location on the lake. The house was clean and well stocked, in the beds were very comfortable. The only drawback, and it was a small thing, is that parking is very limited. The driveway is steep and there's limited parking above the house. We just left our boat trailers down at the nearby boat landing, which is allowed, and that took care of the parking issue for us. We will definitely stay here again next time we come to Caddo!"

"Loved our brief stay at Gator Lodge! I stay at my family's place down the road for few months out of the year, but we had family in town and needed more space. If you're looking to come to Caddo, you can't beat this location for the best of Caddo. (I'm probably biased, but the views from this part of the big lake are stunning -- positioned to catch every sunset over the water on the Big Lake.)Gator Lodge is great for a classic Caddo cabin experience -- modern amenities with the way the lake felt growing up. The dock/outdoor spaces here are incredible as well. If you want a boring house rental that could be in a big city or anywhere, go elsewhere. If you're looking to really feel like you're at Caddo, come here. Highly recommend! "

"This property was an excellent find! The owners have thought of everything to make this a comfortable getaway. The home is well thought out and stocked with everything you’ll need. It was very clean too! Our whole family really loved the kayaks and spent a lot of time exploring the area that way. Plenty of outdoor space for everyone to enjoy - just bring your bug spray! We’ll definitely return to this house if going to this area again! "

"The houseboat was super fun. It was really cool to be able to sit on the roof and enjoy the views. Having access to the kayaks at no charge was the cherry on top. I absolutely loved kayaking around the lake and exploring the cypress trees with my family!"

"We had a great time. The house was super clean! Even the windows and there were a lot of them. The grandsons had fun with darts, pickle ball, the hot tub and kayaking. Beautiful view of the river. Lots of stars and even some lightning bugs. The host was fantastic!"
