The village Icod de los Vinos is located in the northwest of Tenerife and is famous for an approximately 800 year old dragon tree, which has made it to a national monument, as well as the largest lava tunnel in the world (Cueva del Viento).

The international airport Tenerife North is 45 km away, the drive takes about three quarters of an hour.
