"The visit here was so relaxing. It was quiet and just being on the water was refreshing. Felix is a wonderful host. He kindly took us around the area, pointing out places and discussing history and culture with us. We learned a lot. He also showed us an amazing collection of reed birds and gave us a really informative lesson in nature."

This honesty is further out form the other home stays, closer to where they originally were located which means you get less tour boats driving past and privacy. The day tour to the community islands was fantastic. the food is simple and delicious! As it’s an island I would bring more snacks or drinks as there is no where to purchase them. "Staying on the Uros islands is highly recommended. The rate includes amazing breakfast and Dinners cooked for you. As well as boat transportation from Puno to the hotel. The staff arranged a tour for us to Taquile island and the rest of the parts of Uros islands. The cultural experience is amazing. The staff were so nice and attended to our every need. You won't get a chance ti stay on a floating island made of reeds anywhere else so we highly advise you to try it!"
