"Property is high up a mountain secluded. I did not get the chance to explore the area so I'm not sure if there's other options in, but our option was thru a taxi. Definitely would have to drive up to get up there. The facilities had a fantastic view. The hotel also had a spacious onsen, very well equipped. "Peaceful, remote onsen amongst beautiful forests covered with the colors of fall. We had a wonderful experience here. Staff service was great and very friendly. Although the concierge and head waiter don't speak English, they were quick to seek the help of 2 colleagues who could communicate with us in English (the chef and waitress). The meals (dinner and breakfast) were excellent. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in these parts."
