The cabin itself was exactly as depicted in the photos, having all the indoor/outdoor space was a huge plus and the communication with the owner was outstanding from the moment of booking through to our departure. "Very cute and has everything you need . Location to smugs is great, but the road to stowe thru the notch is closed all winter so its 50 min to there. Bummer. It rained and froze so the rock sidewalk was super icy and the spiral stairs are tight, so be careful if anyone has mobility issues. The owner was responsive and the place was warm,clean and ready when we got there late. The river roaring in the backyard was pretty cool and the layout inside was really well-done. "We loved our stay in this little ski chalet near Smugglers' Notch. It's a great layout for a couple with two - three kids. It was just three of us - so more than enough space for sleeping and lounging in the common areas. Highly recommended."

"Beautiful home. Beautiful views. Be careful using the fireplace- the house is so well-sealed that if you don't open a window the flue won't draw properly and smoke will back up into the house."

Villas were located far enough away to give space and privacy. You are close to Von Trapp restaurants and amenities but you need to drive into Stowe for other entertainment/restaurants/pubs. "
