Loud. Hot. Cheap.
Hotel had no TV or Phone as per description. Loud beach outside and because there's no air conditioning you need to keep the door open. There's a steel kick plate on the bathroom door and if you kick it, it cuts a deep gash into your toe. Occasionally the staff may make up your room. But not all the time. Breakfast is good considering.

The main floor terrace has a great view over the bay. The breakfast buffet was great. Our junior suite had a generous balcony. The room and hallway carpets are getting old and the bathtub is dated. The location is very close to the inner harbour which is great except late at night when bar patrons head back to there hotels or apartments making a a lot of noise.

Great location, just for the night.
Great location, right next to where you get off the ferry and there's a beach right below. Beautiful views and great for a morning dip in the sea. Breakfast buffet was good and I liked that it went on until 11am. The rooms are very basic, no air con, just a fan and the bed, which was fine. I was glad we were only there the one night as we didn't spend much time in the room anyway. The balcony was nice though. I feel we definitely paid for location rather than facilities.

Shabby hotel with no air con
Nice location but the carpets are tired to say the least and there is no air conditioning, just a weak desk fan to keep cool. Stifling in July and loud people outside all night make for not much sleep. I checked into another hotel.

One night in Hvar: 'Standard Room - Sea View'
This is quite deceiving. Rooms are just basic apartments adjacent to what was actually advertised. Room #65 had some bad stench coming from the bathroom drains? So bad that it was stinking out the whole room even with the bathroom door shut. There's no air con or even a ceiling fan...just a teeny tiny little desk fan. The room was so hot and stinky we had to keep the balcony door open which meant putting up with obnoxious revellers ALL night/morning. Free breakfast was so-so but the biggest downfall is the 'Free Wi-Fi' is only free if you want to sacrifice precious holiday/exploring time to hang out in the lobby. I don't usually fuss over Wi-Fi but when you're on a tight schedule with a unreliable travel sim card, and you need to respond to bookings, you really rely on this service. And I must point out that customer service is not the same as what we call customer service here in Australia. Next time we'll just go for a B&B or splash out and stay at the Amfora Hotel.

great location, rooms need update
Pros: location, was right on the water, beautiful view of harbor and monastary from hotel patio, 3 minute walk from central square, had parking 10 min walk away for free, great service, great breakfast with view of water from tables. Cons: no air conditioning, room was not very nice, shower had very high sides to it, difficult to climb into.

No AC -
the rooms have no AC and only a small table fan. It is impossible to sleep at night. Be ready to boil. For the cost paid u expect better living condition.

Loud but good
Hotel is a bit rundown but rooms are kept clean and felt comfortable. Exactly like all other reviews- due to no air conditioning it definitely gets warm in the room! We stayed at end of August so wasn't as hot as it could have been but had to sleep with doors open. As a result, it is extremely loud outside. People are out until 6am no matter what night of the week. If you can sleep through it, the location is perfect and they offered free parking & breakfast. Considering the price we felt like it was worth it- but keep in mind it will definitely be hot & loud!

Great location and great value for money.
You get what you pay for. My girlfriend and I stayed in the Annexe and the value for money is some of the best in Europe. The room is a bit basic but who stays in the hotel room all day when you're on holiday anyway! The location is fantastic with an area to swim and sunbathe right outside the hotel. Walking distance from the Hvar - Split Ferry and almost every bar and restaurant in Hvar Town. Perfect for people who want to drink and have fun fairly cheaply in Hvar. Other reviews say it is too loud but it is not. Lovely breakfast veranda with a beautiful harbour view (average breakfast but it is included!). Very good staff. Overall I was fairly happy with this hotel for £50 per night.

Very nice people working at the reception etc however the rooms were very old fashioned. The view from our seafront room was spectacular. The rooms was small and the shower facilities were terrible.

Older, clean building, beautiful view!
Our only complaint would be that it was a bit loud at night from the people out on the street below and we had to leave our windows open as there was no AC. Otherwise a great stay and our room had the most incredible view!

This hotel was super close to everything!!!
We liked the location of this hotel, as it was close to the beaches, the port and a bunch of bars and restaurants. The only downside was that we heard all the people coming home at 7am from the island. We had a really nice room that was a decent size.

Well located beach option in Hvar
We stayed in the adults only beach annex. Highly recommended for young people (without children) who want to join the fun in Hvar. It is located right on the beach, steps from the ferry terminal and included a great breakfast. The beds were great. The only bad thing was that the shower had cheap plastic hardware that wouldn't hold the head properly and you have to go 100m to reception to use WIFI. I would recommend this if you can find it for about one hundred US dollars.

Horrible
It was a nightmare staying at this hotel. We were initially booked for 3 nights but decided to waste our 1 night and moved out. Hotel has no A/C so you have to keep the balcony door open for some ventilation, which didn't allow us to sleep due to the noise outside till 6 am. The rooms are in very bad condition. The 4 walls and the celiing had different shades of paint which was ridiculous. The bed was uncomfortable, the bathroom was small, there was just 1 light in the room that too an open bulb, no light fixture, and furniture was very old, and there was just 2 power socket. So you can just do any 2 of the following, use 1 fan instead of 2, charge your phone, charge your ipad, charge your camera, or use any other electronic item. To add to this, there are no elevators, so if you aren't backpacking you are in trouble. The only decent part about the hotel was a nice man working there who helped us with the bags. I have traveled a fair amount and this was by far the worst property i have ever come across.
