"This was a huge disappointment. However, most of it is due to false/wrong information on their website. According to Expedia/their website, this place had 11 restaurants, 11 bars and 11 cafès. They have none. At first they blamed it on covid; though I am pretty sure they did not "remove" 11 restaurants because of the pandemic. I also ordered all inclusive, which is quite impossible when they have nowhere to serve refreshments etc. And yeah; they fixed their website the following day. Their...

"The staff at the guesthouse were very friendly and went to out of their way to be helpful, including arranging someone to meet me at the airport, taking me to Male and making sure I got on the right boat for the island. There is a lot of land reclamation going on on Huraa Island, meaning that many of the lagoons, particularly the one directly outside the guesthouse have disappeared. not that this is a fault of the guest house and, to be fair, they did forewarn me of this. "Extremely overpriced for what it is. At check in they asked to wait for almost an hr and they obliged us to give our flight code numbers even though we were staying at another place the nights before. Everything was delayed like 25 mins for a coffee even though we were alone. The real disappointment came from the actual owner who was very unfriendly on the phone."

"I was met at the jetty by 2 staff driving a golf car -- then given a 15 minute tour of the island before checking in. I actually did not stay at Huraa East Inn (I think they were fully booked) but was taken to Sea Shine Guest House nearby. So, even though "
