This can make check-in difficult because there are no signs indicating where the lobby is located (a block away on another street). "

"The staff were excellent - helpful and friendly. The hotel was nice and it had a “trust bar” where customer serve themselves and record their purchase in a book to settle at checkout. The room was clean and very spacious - but the shower was very weak and most days had no hot water. The area was convenient but the paving was very uneven and it was very dark at night. But it was safe and quiet."

"Cute place that was perfect for our family. My only issue was that Travelocity behaved differently for this check in than all others in the past. I did not realize that the bill was not already paid, since credit card information was taken by Travelocity. The charge needed to happen at the property and we had already left. I felt bad for not understanding. We solved it quickly. Sorry to the management for the misunderstanding. "

"I stayed in total seven nights at El Tigre de Santiago. It is located in a quiet neighborhood, but a quick jaunt away from downtown and really close to the Santiago market which is good for breakfast or lunch. The rooms were tidy and comfortable, the layout of the hostel easy and conducive to making friends if desired. They also have purified water to help stay hydrated. The staff were helpful as well, and very accommodating."

"The property, pool, beach are all as pictured. Modern home right on the beach. We enjoyed the pool after our beach walks. Netflix and internet always worked, property manager, Gregorio, was great. The town is further than it appears, you are “out there”, but that is the point. Mother Nature rules the roost, flamingo tour and mangroves of Sisal are amazing. We should all respect the nature and old ways of life in this fishing village without impacting the locals negatively. Palapa Soco- yumm!"
