"Beautiful grounds, worth a stroll. Challenging driveway. My check engine light came on so I am losing a day at the mechanic. It is very steep, your car will probably be fine, mine is very old. Twin room has one window which is at the entrance of another room so choose between privacy and natural light. Had issues with mosquitos, light switch near only one bed which doesn't have a nightstand. Overall beautiful property with a challenging room (twin), the other rooms seem better."

"Aachen House is a stunning historic building. Full of character and history . So much more interesting than a normal hotel room. My room was huge and comfortable with a balcony and a seperate bathroom. The bath was amazing."

The unit was will equipped with everything we needed, the views are even better than the pictures and there’s just a lovely sense of peace. It’s about a 10 minute drive into town where there’s more going on, but we were looking for solitude and got what we needed."
