The Delano Park House

Beautiful 3 bedroom 1 1/2 bath entire home in Decatur. This neighborhood is super quiet. We offer a 110 ft driveway for boats and trucks. Enclosed patio allows you to relax without the nuisance of bugs. If grilling is your thing ~ we got you. We are one block from Delano Park, 1.3 miles from Cooks Museum, 22 miles from the U.S. Space and Rocket Center, 21 miles from Bridge-street Town Center, and 22 miles from Redstone Arsenal. Ring camera installed at front door only for security purposes.

Each room has a trash can and trash bags. There is a dumpster in the back yard. Please bag up and tie all trash appropriately, and place INSIDE dumpster , this is common courtesy. There will be an additional charge for cleaning of property is found in disarray.

Please leave the property clean and tidy. We strive for cleanliness between renters and are finding this to be quite a task.
We have provided trash cans and trash bags in each room , please use them appropriately.
There will be an additional $150 dollar cleaning fee if property is found to be beyond normal wear and tear for length of stay.

House was fine but there is not a half bath…. There was one bathroom and a toilet room…. Half bath means a shower to me. One full bathroom with a family is a little hard but we enjoyed our stay

Needs railing for front steps
4 people all over 50 years of age. One visually impaired.; so front steps were scary without a hand rail. House was extremely clean and welcoming. Back porch had rails but screen door needs to open inward as our grand dogs waiting to get in had to back down for door to open outward. We loved the yard for the 2 dogs however they were only there for one full day. This location was fantastic for our planned visit. We enjoyed cooking on the gas stove and the abundance of cookware and table ware. K.K.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Delano House. We travel to Decatur each summer to attend a RC Trash Panda’s Game, spend a day at Pt. Mallard Waterpark, and dine at Rosie’s Cantina. We were devastated when our usual accommodation was booked. We searched and made this reservation in hopes that it would compare. We were pleasantly surprised and each member of our family declared that this property exceeded our highest expectations and was better than our usual accommodation! The host was very helpful and the property was well stocked and perfect for our needs. We look forward to returning!

Great location and property

Perfect for a short term home!
Brought my family for a wedding. The house was perfect and very spacious. Throughout the 5 days i was there it was like i never left home. All the family came in and out to prepare and it was never over crowded. Only complaint is it could have been a bit cleaner. With that being said its still 5 stars and id rent again.

Great stay in Decatur!
We just loved this house. The screened porch and yard were so pleasant! The floor plan fit us well. The driveway is perfect for front and back access. It was ten minutes to point Mallard and downtown Decatur. We enjoyed both. The kids loved Delano park nearby. Other shopping and restaurants were very close and accessible. We will want to stay here again when we get the chance!

This was a perfect "home base" for our activities
We needed a place where we could cook and play games, do laundry and sit outside for morning coffee - all this in between wedding-related activities in the area. This house was wonderfully clean and well-stocked for all our needs. The screened-in back porch and the beautiful back yard were especially delightful additions to our whole experience. We enjoyed working with Ahmad, who gave us friendly and quick information as needed. Five stars from some very satisfied people!

My stay was great! Ahmad was very helpful with all my questions. The house was beautiful, clean and well supplied for all my needs. The neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors were friendly. I felt save to leave my dog while I was away on business. If I’m ever in town on business again I’ll definitely stay there.
