The views are amazing, the house was everything we hoped for, there was plenty to do and plenty of places to just kick back and enjoy the peacefulness and the view! Love our stay there. Ages 19 through 88 and all absolutely loved our stay.
It was a wonderful experience! We enjoyed our annual family vacation here and had a great time playing in the game room and having nightly fires! Thank you for the lovely time!
The house was fantastic and Chris was extremely responsive. There is no better view in the area, it was amazing. We could not have asked for anything more.
House is as beautiful as the pictures. View was amazing. Hosts were quick to respond. We took a day trip to Blue Knob. Truly enjoyed our short vacay. Would definitely stay here again!
Our family of 4 had a wonderfully relaxing week, sitting by the fire, playing pool and taking in the amazing view! Would recommend this property to anyone and everyone
We had a great time. The cabin is beautiful and the view of the lake is awesome! Bonus…The owners left the Christmas tree up for us. The configuration of the beds/bedrooms was perfect for our family. The basement was a perfect hangout room for the dogs, the kids, and even the grownups. We all said that we would stay there again.
The view is spectacular and everything was right there for us. Hard time finding the road back to house the sign not very open to oncoming cars had to backtrack. But otherwise it was great relaxing and you will enjoy everything there is to offer.
Chris (owner) had said the pictures don’t do it justice and promised a spectacular view, he did not over promise and under deliver.
This is a must see for anyone considering it.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Crown Jewel Vista! The view is the first thing that strikes you--there is no way photos can do it justice! The place was large and accommodated our group of nine very nicely. There was enough stuff to do with the deck, fire pit, pool table, multiple televisions, etc. It served as a good starting point for our exploration of the Raystown Lake area. Plenty to do in the area for sure, including hiking, great food, and lake activities. My main suggestion for the property would be to add a hottub or a pool as that would have been amazing to relax in after a fun long day!
First impression was breathtaking. The view and the house it self is so well define that no words can describe it. I wish we had more time to stay cause 2 days isn’t enough. The drive to the house is treacherous if you do not have the proper vehicle. But it was one of the joys for us when we drove over there, it reminded me of my country back in the days. Thank you so much for this experience and will definitely come again.
This property was a great size for 12 adults and 2 dogs. We had plenty of room to spread out if need be. A shower in the 4th bathroom would of been helpful for the bedrooms on the top floor. Updated mattresses would also be a plus along with a few hand towels for the bathrooms. House was clean and obviously had an awesome view. High speed internet would be nice to have as many people have to put in a few hours of work while on vacation. In this instance one member of my family drove to the great local public library for high speed internet for a work presentation. We would absolutely stay here again!!
The view is unmatched. The house fit 10 people comfortably. The bathroom on the second level did not have a shower, only bath tub and the toilet in the basement flooded x2 from underneath the sealant of the base of the toilet. The pipes must have been partially occluded because when you would flush, it would slowly leak out. There was water damage in that bathroom, so it seemed as tbough this might have happened before. For us, this took away a shower/toilet and then shower on second level. So we had to share essentially 2 showers and 3 toilets between 10 people. There are also not any washcloths provided. We thlight there were pull-out couches, but there are not any. That could have been us misunderstanding the website description.
Aside from this, the house was great. There was plenty of seating for everyone and it did feel clean. We all enjoyed the house and our stay. The game room in the basement was so much fun as well. Overall, we would recommend this place, but maybe for smaller groups (not 20).
