"For staying in Knysna it is a perfect location: we had a room with a view over the lagoon, they offer breakfast, parking (which will cost 30ZAR extra per day). The staff was super friendly and helpful. you have a nice pool area. And you are right at the waterfront which is beautiful to walk around - or you can go for dining, boat tours. "

"The room was very large and clean, beds were comfortable and Rudi is a very knowledgeable host. The family room had a nice selection of teas and delicious ground coffee for the french press with fresh milk as well. Lovely balcony to sit on and enjoy the sea view while having a drink. The owners have 2 friendly pugs but you don't hear them while in the room."

"This place is an absolute gem! My husband and I truly enjoyed this venue for our last few days in Plettenburg Baii! The venue is absolutely beautiful but I can say that this place wouldn’t be as beautiful as it was without the great staff. The service given was superb and it truly felt like home being there!"

"We booked Roseroc for one night at the last minute based on reviews and we were NOT disappointed. Kevin, our genial host is a mine of information. He suggested a great restaurant you could walk to although we drove and other interesting things to do.The breakfast was fantastic. We recommend the "Roseroc" poached egg. I will try to recreate this at home. We would not hesitate to recommend Roseroc. I'm not sure quite how my wife found this little gem nestled away but she must be amazing too."

"The setting is unreal beautiful. If you’re traveling the garden route and only staying a night as we did, make sure to get there early enough to enough the pool and beautiful setting!"

"The stay was disappointing for a 4-star hotel and felt overpriced for the value and service you get. The sharp mildew smell from the kitchenette basin table top in the bedroom amd the closet behind the shower was unbearable. It seems the aircon also leaks onto the wood. The front door handle was loose as if broken before, which made us uneasy with the intense website warning of potential trespassers. Security at the entrance gate was very friendly, but didn't once scan/record a driver's/car license. Alot of the lady staff have attitude and should go on a friendliness / hospitality etiquette course. "

"Loved the location, modern design and beautiful view from the elevated pool terrace. Standard room was nicely decorated, neat and functional but it was very very tiny with no space to move by the bed and no space for a chair and the patio was internal with no view. This was a bit disappointing for the money. Suites looked wonderful though if your budget can stretch to that."
