If a chrome and glass condo atop a downtown hotel is what you are looking for, our place might not fit your needs. However, if a cozy (but spacious), quaint (but with all the comforts of home) cabin on the river sounds more like what your family would enjoy, please consider our space.
From the large back deck you will walk down to your own private dock on the Guadalupe, where your family can enjoy swimming, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, or just floating the day away under the shade of the cypress trees. Sitting on the deck or dock at sundown is a must, as you will want to watch the fireflies emerge and hear the frogs begin their evening songs!
Indoors, there is a roomy sectional sofa in the living room, and you’ll find jalousie windows in the sunroom/dining room that give you the feeling of being outdoors while you enjoy your meals or take afternoon naps on the couches (one of which offers twin pull out beds).
Three bedrooms and bathrooms afford all the comforts of home.
1.) Located downstairs the Master bedroom contains a king bed, dresser, desk, and two upholstered chairs. The ensuite bathroom has a tub/shower combination and a roomy dressing area.
2.) The downstairs guest bedroom is furnished with 2 vintage maple twin beds, chest of drawers, and mirrored dressing table.
3.) The upstairs family room/bedroom has two queen beds plus a trundle bed with twin mattresses. The upstairs bathroom is a split design with a shower in one room and the toilet and sink in the other which are side by side. This very large room also includes a dresser and a game table for playing cards, games or working on a puzzle. All of the bedrooms have closets.
Other amenities include covered parking, covered front porch with seating, barbecue pit, washer and dryer, two refrigerators, two picnic tables on the deck, wrought iron deck furniture, pack and play with a mattress and sheets plus a foldable booster seat for our youngest guests. The kitchen is fully equipped with a full array of cooking and serving pieces as. well as 2 coffee makers. We do have a canoe, inner tubes, floats and life jackets for your use while you stay. Be sure to bring your fishing gear!
