"It was the perfect location to rest after a long day in the national parks. It was not anything fancy, but it was very clean. The sheet and linens could be improved. The beds did not have top sheets and the towels were very small and rough texture. We did not use the kitchen at all. "

"We struggled with the lock box, but everything after that was amazing! The hosts were very responsive when we were struggling with the lock box. The cabin is so cozy and has so much character. Highly recommend if you’re wanting to enjoy Sequoia National Park and star gaze!"

"My family had a great time at Knotty Cabin. We were lucky to have fresh snow in time for our arrival and waking up to snow-covered trees right outside the window by our bed was heaven. The cabin is beautiful and clean, it looks just as pictured in the photos. The location is very convenient to the Kings Canyon Visitor Center and General Grant Tree. Heather is a quick and friendly communicator. We hope to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the outdoor bunk beds on the balcony. "

"Stayed during the winter season. Was easy to find and get in using the provided instructions. The cabin has all the modern amenities pictured and promised, but also maintains a very cozy and down-to-earth feel. Found everything we needed in the kitchen, and enjoyed the ambiance of having a fire in the wood stove although it isn’t necessary for keeping the place warm. Enjoyed our time and definitely would stay again."

"Just what we needed! Silent, cozy, rustic hideaway, just 20 min's from Kings Canyon/Sequoia. Took gorgeous hikes each day, warmed up by the fire at night. "Decided to base our visits to Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks from the fantastically located and charming property. Best decision ever. The cabin is extremely clean, well appointed and comfortable - and the bit of quirkiness adds to a great experience (although the shower is indeed narrow! There is no hallway to the 2nd bedroom so its either an outside exit or a walk through of the other bedroom). The internet was fast and reliable. The driveway to the cabin is demarked by a small sign...

"Lovely and spacious cabin in Kings Canyon Park. We stayed 4 nights in October. The cool nights made the pellet fireplace much appreciated. Plenty of outdoor seating for warmer weather. There’s so much to vist nearby that 3 days was not nearlt enough. We’ll be back."

"We only spent one night and was able to enjoy the grants Grove of the Kings Canyon National park. Concerns that we had: 1. A Beautiful grill was provided, but The propane was empty. The closest propane is 25 miles away. 2. There are no smoke detectors in the unit. Due to the fact that there is an unvented gas heater as well as the water heater in side the cabin… Smoke detectors as well as a carbon monoxide detector should be, and pretty sure legally mandatory. This should be given immediate...

The outdoor shower was a great touch, and swimming in the chilly mountain river was peaceful, especially with no one else around, giving us a sense of seclusion. The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed. Kori was easy to work with and very responsive to any requests we had."

"This cabin is so close to being amazing. It's a great location for getting into Sequoia National Park and is secluded enough that you can set up some chairs and enjoy some quiet stargazing. The cabin itself was clean and had everything we needed. The only problem was the bathroom was falling apart to the point that we avoided using it altogether. If the bathroom door hinges were fixed and the walls made more permanent this would be a perfect place to stay"
