"This was a great place to stay. The location was great. Right by the lake with beautiful sunset views. About 20 minutes from town and a beautiful drive. All the comforts of home and as the description says no internet for a peaceful get away but phone service is no problem. Lots of DVDs to choose from. It was nice to disconnect. "We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book this location again! The house is updated, clean, near the lake, and just a short easy drive to Jefferson. We saw lots of deer, blue jays, and cardinals, and the area is very quiet and serene. Highly recommend this cozy retreat in the woods!"

"The property is very attractive and well maintained. The unit itself was clean, smelled nice, and the bed was comfy! We LOVED having a kitchen to enjoy a leisurely breakfast & visit the neighbor’s fluffy cat. Being able to open the blinds to watch the thunderstorms was wonderful! The owner was very nice and responsive to our needs. However, the high booking fee for what we received provided no value to us. "Loved our stay here. The view of the lake is spectacular. The place was super clean and seemed like it had just been renovated, so everything felt new. The owners had a lot of nice and thoughtful touches, including having a fire pit full of wood and ready to be lit when we arrived. The bed was comfortable as well!
