"1 night stay just before Christmas - hotel staff were excellent, was expecting to pay for parking but receptionist suggested I sign up to an ‘Accor Live Limitless’ account which makes parking was free (result!). Room was a good size but one issue was the hot water in the shower. Even with the temperature turned up as hot as possible the shower water was a little tepid (it was better using the hand held shower rather than the rose in the ceiling…….but would expect better). "Staff were very friendly and helpful, there was a small problem with the heating system in our room and the young lady in the reception offered us an electric heater which was really helpful. "We came to Trier for the Christmas market and to visit the Roman sites. The hotel was ideally placed for both. There's no restaurant but the hotel buffet breakfast was excellent and catered well for a gluten intolerance. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. Parking in the underground carpark was fine if a little tight to navigate in a bigger car. The staff were excellent and helpful. They spoke perfect English but humoured our schoolboy German! All round good."

"This is a very unique property in that you check yourself in through a machine and locate your room by yourself. There is a communal dining area where you can prepare your own food. We had an issue with noise, being at the front of the hotel, and the manager who was present in the morning moved us and upgraded us to a remarkable room with a balcony! This is a beautiful property!
