Relax here with the panoramic view of the lake during the day, to the beautiful sunsets and sitting around the fire listening to the loons at night.
Our house is located less than a half mile in on a private dirt road. A boat launch (no dock), at the beginning of the road is available for use, but you will need to park your vehicle and trailer at the house, there is no space to leave it at the landing/launch area.
The entryway is up the deck stairs and accessed via a keypad on the door.
The open floor plan from the kitchen to the living area overlooks the lake through the wall of windows and sliding glass door that leads out to the deck. Start your day enjoying your morning coffee/breakfast while taking in the fresh air, the songs of the birds and beauty of the lake from the deck.
The kitchen is stocked with dishes, silverware, pots and pans for cooking, a coffee maker and tea bar area along with basic cleaning supplies.
The living/dining area includes a table with 4 chairs, a power sectional couch, large smart TV and a workstation.
Fiber optic Wi-Fi throughout makes streaming and working remotely a breeze. This year-round home will keep you cool during the summer months and warm during the winter months with the new heat pump located in the main living space.
All bedrooms are located on the roadside of the house with windows that look out to the woods.
*The master bedroom has a king bed, 2 dressers, TV equipped with a Roku and a half bath attached. There is plenty of closet space in this room for hanging clothes or storing items.
*The second bedroom has 2 twin beds. In the closet; a small dresser, books, games, coloring books, some art supplies and extra space for storing items.
*The third bedroom has a queen bed, an armoire and a TV equipped with Roku along with closet space for hanging clothes or storing items.
Each room has nightstands with charging ports mounted on them. You can find extra blankets and linens in the bedroom closets and an electric heater, ironing board and iron in the master bedroom closet.
The main bathroom comes stocked with towels, wash clothes and hand towels for bathing and beach towels for swimming along with a first aid kit, extra toilet paper, paper towels and basic cleaning supplies.
There is laundry on site downstairs in the unfinished basement. Also down there is a second refrigerator and exit/entrance to the waterfront via a pull-up garage style door.
The outdoor space includes;
*a fire ring with wood,
*grill access,
*plastic chairs,
*picnic table with umbrella,
*corn hole game and space for other activities.
-There are 2 kayaks and a paddle board on site with life jackets located in the outdoor box under the deck. Maine law requires everyone to have a life jacket.
-There’s a box under the deck where guests can safely store their outside items during their stay so you don’t have to lug them in and out each day and they can be out of the elements, it does get windy on occasion.
-Enjoy fishing from the dock or walk down the stairs into the water for a swim or float.

Guest will have the whole house to themselves in this split ranch style house. The top floor is the main living area, and the bottom floor is unfinished basement where the laundry is located along with a second refrigerator and access out the pull-up to open, garage style door to the waterfront space.
The driveway can park 3 vehicles and there’s plenty of room across the street for other vehicles and boat trailers.
Whether a day trip to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park for sightseeing/tourist attractions or an adventure to Baxter State Park for hiking and enjoying nature at its finest, is on your ‘To Do’ list, the central location of The Loft makes day travel easy: 1 - 1.5-hour drive.
