"My girlfriend and I celebrated our ten year anniversary here and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The cabin is so cozy and inviting, and the kitchen is incredibly well equipped. "Amazing location on a completely private small lake just a few minutes off the Taconic Parkway. Host is very helpful, and very artistic. Sleeping on a pull out couch was initially off-putting, but it is very high quality and fairly comfortable, and works for the space. So many birds to see and hear! Nice hiking trails on the large property, which has adjacent preserved land. "

"We had such a wonderful long weekend away that this home. Everything was exactly as pictured. Home was clean and so welcoming. Location was perfect for all that Great Barrington has to offer. The wraparound deck and fireplace made it all the more special. Communication was excellent and we got quick replies to any questions that came up. I would definitely recommend staying here and would happily return."

"the cabin is private once you are inside you face the woods but it is off route 32, if you use the hot tub you are facing woods which gives you privacy. I wanted a quiet weekend to celebrate my girlfriend's Bday which the cabin did suit that purpose otherwise not much to do in the local town of Cairo you blink you'll miss it. "My friends and I stayed here, and we very much enjoyed a quiet place to stay at the end of the day. We were racing nearby at the Dragway for a few days, the location was great. The deer that visited in the yard was a nice touch. It's also a nice place to take in the sunrise from the deck with a coffee or two. We would definitely stay here again."

"We booked a couple nights to attend a show at Tanglewood and Chris and Ellen's Heartwood cabin did not disappoint. Great proximity to countless things of interest (amazing digital guidebook provided by hosts) we were only able to scratch the surface. So grateful dogs are able to enjoy the cabin and the gorgeous grounds. We will try to return down the road for sure!"
