"The cabin was perfect for my husband, our dog and I. It had everything we needed. The area was breathtaking! We couldn't have asked for a better spot. It was quiet and the views were amazing. This was our first time at SML and we are so glad we visited. We hope to be back next year with my husband's kids and their spouses for a family vacation. If you are looking for a quiet getaway with spectacular views of the lake and the mountains, this cabin is perfect!"

"We had the most relaxing weekend in Cabin 2 at Cedar Key. The accommodations were perfect for me, my husband, and our terrier pup. Sipping wine in the sunshine on the dock, fall hikes, and even a couple of chilly swims were highlights of our stay. The cabin is small, but mighty, equipped with everything we needed for our getaway and then some. Thanks for hosting us! "

"Thankful to get the opportunity to stay at this magnificent home for 3 perfect nights. 15 people stayed, we never once felt crammed or crowded. There are so many areas to congregate. We cooked every meal there, used both grills. Everything is so clearly marked and easy to locate in the kitchen. We had a non stop fire pit, have never stayed at a place that provided so much wood! The hot tub was wonderful, super clean. The furniture was all very solid and sturdy, the beds comfortable. Now I want a rainshower head, what a nice touch. =) We watched some NFL in the theater room, played pool, jammed to the Alexa driven juke box, played shuffleboard and video games.....there is just truly nothing these owners haven't thought of. The grounds are stunning, so well maintained and landscaped. The dock got a lot of use, but seriously, 7 grown men couldn't catch a SINGLE FISH! LOL This truly was the best location, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or return. Something else to note--usually guests are asked to do quite a bit of cleaning prior to check out at previous homes we have stayed. We felt odd not being asked to even strip the beds! Mr Rob was SUPER responsive, and very kind to let us in earlier and stay a little later since there weren't guests arriving just before or after us. The peaceful location was perfection for our group of friends, and we would love to see it in every season. Thank you again for the wonderful memories!"

"The cabin/location/ is an amazing place to stay, furnished with everything you need and some and the cleanliness was exceptional. David the host (promptly) answered any questions I may have had about the place before my arrival. The outdoor area is awesome along with plenty of firewood for the fire pit. I also enjoyed the neighbor that played the bagpipes at 5pm every afternoon that we were there. Just an amazing place Thank you David."

"The house was spacious and comfortable for a group of 8…the kitchen had all the necessary items to cook. The only problem was that the dishwasher wasn’t working (the owner did notify us before we arrived), so we had to bring paper products. The beds were comfortable. The lake views were beautiful with peak leaf colors. It was a very good place to gather for such a special celebration! "

"The house and the property were great, the hill in the back yard is a bit steep but I made due. It was great to have a dock to put my boat, that way I could tie it up at night and go on it first thing in the morning "
