"Apparently this is one of the 'best' hotels in Ayutthaya so you have to take the good with the inconvenient. Designed as a 'boutique' hotel - emphasis seems to be on design over guest experience. The main passage is dramatic and impressive - leading to lots of halls with stairs to rooms on the upper levels. Some of the best upper rooms have very steep, very high spiral staircases - so be aware if you have any limitations. We had a terrace room on the main lever, but there were hard to see...

"Great value for money. Everyone happy and looking after you. New, modern, clean, well designed. Near to new modern shopping mall, Central. One of the street vendors on the other side of 7/11 sold me a wonderful mixed seafood for 80 Baht. Worth a revisit. "

"This place is a must if you’re in the area. Service was white glove top-notch, they upgraded me even tho this was not a VIP access hotel from Expedia. The room was super spacious, luxury apartment style, everything is there for your needs. Room service is a tad expensive, but a small nag considering the overall experience was enjoyable. WiFi is good. Will 100% stay again without hesitation. "

"There were 4 of us traveling. We booked two rooms. I had to changed the very first room they booked for us because it stank like sewage and mildew. The wooden wall over the bed was peeling off and only one light worked in the room. In the bathroom, the window by the toilet had green and black mold covering it as well as the side wall of the shower. The faucet for the sink wasn't even attached to the sink... The room they changed my daughter and I to was better, it didn't stink as much but there...

"My check in was lacking. None of my questions were answered. The laundry facilities that were listed on amenities didn’t exist so I spent my first night lugging my clothes 30min to the laundromat. The room was fine. A little pricy for being on par with most budget places I’ve stayed on my travels. There was a fridge but no kettle. It’s a bit far from restaurants in the pm. But there are a couple great local non tourist filled spots for lunch. Not close to much but quiet. "

"Very traditional, beautifully preserved wooden building, with all the charm you need. Shared living room upstairs with the open view on the river, couple of tables and comfortable seats. Downstairs patio going straight onto the river, where you can have morning drink, observing boats going around. Shared bathrooms weren't a problem, as there is not too many rooms. Boat away from the city centre and short walk to the train station."

"So nice staff helping with directions and helped arrange travel on. Location is a block from historical park which is what I was there for. Night market also nearby."

Nightmare

"There were 4 of us traveling. We booked two rooms. I had to changed the very first room they booked for us because it stank like sewage and mildew. In the bathroom, the window by the toilet had green and black mold covering it as well as the side wall of the shower. The faucet for the sink wasn't even attached to the sink... The room they changed my daughter and I to was better, it didn't stink as much but there were water leaking from the toilet. My sister and mother had the worst experience, the mildew smell wasn't as strong as my rooms but the bathroom was terrible. When my sister went to take a shower, she had a chunk of black mold washed onto her face.. The night staff didn't want to help us at all. Needless to says worst experience with a hotel ever. I don't recommend. "

"Clean and comfy. Small fridge available. Quite okay buffet breakfast: pork porridge, basil stir fried pork with rice, boiled eggs, salad, bread, coffee. Swimming pool, gym. WiFi off and on some times. Limited parking lots compared to number of rooms. Location is quite good. "
