"Spent a week there with family and dogs. Very clean and everything you could need The views are beautiful. One thing to note, if you take a dog make sure you have long leads and a torch, as nowhere enclosed to let them off before bed or first thing. Both bathrooms are en-suite as well as opening to the corridor which was a peek we didn’t expect. The perfect place for a relaxing family trip and highly recommend. "

"A short break at half term for the grandkids. Very nice accommodation. Heating tolerable for Nov but turning the thermostat up had little affect. The setting of the lodge is excellent. Nice walks and views. Thankfully the weather remained dry even if it was overcast. Would recommend this lodge and helpful owner. Lots to see/di in the area. The nearest shops are Keswick which is a drive away so buy before you arrive. The kids liked the Puzzle museum in Keswick and going out on Derwenter Water...

"This property is perfect for a weekend away in the lakes. It’s very central in Coniston but still quiet so much so we never took the cars out at all! The house is well equipped and beautifully appointed and the communication from Brad was excellent. As noted in the details the staircase is steep and one of the bathrooms is one the second floor but we just felt you needed to be careful on them and then they were fine.
