Grand Ridge Grove is the perfect home for gathering with friends and family. After driving through the beautiful wooded community with glimpses of Apple Valley Lake through the tall trees, you'll arrive at a welcoming home on a large wooded lot.
After parking in the large driveway, enter through the raised front porch to an open-concept living space with a convenient entry, comfy living room with a large sectional and big TV, a spacious dining area with additional bar seating, a large updated kitchen stocked with all the cooking equipment you need to create a delicious family meal, as well as a few extras. After dinner, pop some popcorn, pile on to the big comfy couch, and stream a family movie!
Down the hall are three bedrooms and a full bathroom. The primary bedroom has a convenient private en suite bathroom and another TV. Back in the kitchen and out the back door you'll find a large wooded backyard with a clearing for a fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs. Down the stairs you'll find a second living room with a couch and TV, as well as a fourth sleeping area with full-size bunk beds and a half bathroom. For added convenience, there is a second mud-room style entrance in the lower level that provide direct access to the driveway.
The surrounding environment is peaceful and beautiful, but please not the Apple Valley Community amenities are reserved for permanent residents and their guests. Visitors may not use the clubhouse, pool, beach, or dock unless accompanied by a resident of Apple Valley. However there are still plenty of attractions to enjoy in the area. This home is a quick drive to Mt. Vernon, Kenyon College, Mount Vernon Nazarene College, Ohio State University Satellite campuses, Schnormeier Gardens, and many hiking trails including Mohican State Park and Woodbury Wildlife Area.
- Visitors may not use the clubhouse, pool, beach, or dock unless accompanied by a resident of Apple Valley.
- No Parties. This is a residential home, so we ask that you please respect the property as if it was your own home. Only registered guests are permitted inside the property (visitors may be permitted if communicated prior to stay). Parties and loud noises are strictly prohibited.
- Violation of our no-party rule will result in a $1,000 collection and immediate cancellation of your stay, police may be contacted and act on our behalf. Thank you for respecting our community and for being a good neighbor. Maximum number of occupants for the property must not be exceeded.
- No Smoking in the property. This home is non-smoking. This includes the use of cigarettes, marijuana, and/or vaping. If you wish to smoke we ask to take it outside. ANY VIOLATION of this rule will result in $500 fine or collection if necessary. This includes any evidence of tampering with the smoke detectors which may be monitored remotely.
- We provide linens, towels, soap, shampoo, toilet paper, and paper towels inside the unit for you. If you have arrived and something is missing, please alert us immediately so that we can make sure to send someone over with the replacement as soon as possible. We do not provide daily housekeeping or laundry service during your stay unless requested for long-term stays.
- Our properties may also be monitored by EXTERIOR security cameras. These are used for the security of you, your guests, and others around. Please refrain from any illegal activity on the premises.
- Exterior noise levels must be kept to a minimum after 10 PM as a courtesy to our neighbors.
- Guests are responsible for their own personal belongings, we cannot be responsible for any lost, damaged or stolen items.
- Please note that any reservations for 30 nights or more require a signed rental agreement to finalize the reservation.
