It was that good that after our stay we booked the same apartment again for our return from our road trip to poland . Its honestly a great experience and the price was brilliant. "Great central location but couple of issues - lights in bathroom didn't work, there was a massive ridge in the middle of the floor (trip hazard) & the fridge was not working - in fact it was running very hot & there was a burning smell in the unit (plastic was warping inside fridge around light) - a clear fire risk. When informed Smartflats simply thanked us for the info & made no attempt. to remedy or compensate. Poor service as we rented the apartment to prepare our own food & were limited....

"The worst customer service ever. This is a bait and switch place. The checkin- they never sent me the email to check in. Had to go through hotels to get them to set it. Then lugged up the luggage to find out that the code didn’t work. Hit up hotels again to find out that they have the wrong address. Finally went to the next place. Up another three flights. There was a broken lamp on the floor - the toilet had build up - the kitchen floor was dirty and the place was dusty. The sofa is comfortable but its appearance is nasty. I purchased a sheet to cover it. Not happy with only one set of sheets for 2 months - also one set of keys - the garbage “Restfall” bags need to be provided and explained since there’s no dumpster. "Very comfortable apartment, just upstairs from the tattoo parlor. Neighbors were mostly quiet, and very little traffic noise (though we did hear the #4 tram on Nationalle). Less than a 15 minute walk to most of the places we visited. But there are tram stations a five minute walk, and a Velo bicycle stand just a minute or two away. "

"A very luxueuze appartement in the center of Antwerpen. Comfy bathrobes and beds that invite you for a long and healthy sleep. The kitchen is more than fully ecquiped. And all of this at a 5 minutes walk from the city center. The only thing were the stairs; therefore the appartement is not suitable for people who are disabled."

"This is not suitable property for a normal traveler. The property is poorly converted house. The owner had let someone stay in one of the rooms in the rented apartment that I had booked while I was there. I did feel safe to go out or even use the shower as there was someone else there who I did not know. It was like a bad flophouse."
