The room was relatively nice, and the bed was comfortable, and I understand that we chose this as a budget accommodation and you get what you pay for, however:
Check-in was at 4. I called at 1 to ask about early check-in, and got no answer. I e-mailed and still no response. At 3:15, having only been given minimal communications to check-in, I got nervous and called Expedia's customer service, who put me in touch with Vrbo's customer service, who put me in touch with the property manager at a different contact number than was listed.
The property manager, Sarah, was very nice, but told me she hadn't gotten notification from the owners that the room was rented. To her credit, she responded ASAP to go and make sure the room was clean and reset, and largely did a good job.
However, she told us she'd come back with more supplied, as there was no toilet paper and the wi-fi wasn't working, and she never did. Additionally, the locks on the door absolutely don't work, the shower water never got warm, and the place wasn't heated.
Sarah was very nice and relatively responsive, but this place has "absentee owner who took a property investing course by some youtuber he follows and does the bare minimum to set up a cashflow investment" written all over it.
I usually never leave bad reviews, but no wi-fi, toilet paper, hot water, heat, or locking doors all weekend made me do it. If I were higher maintenance, I would've complained about more.
