The house was good, and our stay was really fine, so we don't have much to complain about. However, the whole experience didn't feel super professional.
We were told we'd get access code information 24 hours before check-in, and we only got it about 10 hours before, and I had to prompt the managers to even get that.
I certainly don't expect them to supply our every need, but I don't recall being told we needed to bring our own toiletries and things, but all they had were the partial rolls on the toilet paper holders and some leftover hotel soap ... not even simple handsoap dispensers near the sinks. They also mention complimentary "refreshments" on their welcome letter, but the only food in the house is whatever canned food and condiment packets were left behind by previous renters.
Beyond that, the property was in OK shape, but it really needed some attention. Both shower curtain liners were damaged, a simple and inexpensive item to fix. Several of the lights were either flickering or out completely (front porch, laundry closet, bathroom vanities), which again are easy items to maintain. The washer was GREAT to have, but we found three mismatched socks that weren't ours in the rubber seal around the door from who knows how long ago, which makes me wonder how often that's cleaned as those washers are notorious for growing mold in those places.
All that said ... we are grateful for the rental and did enjoy our stay. Thanks!
