Great location!
Great location! Walkable to so many great spots in Montrose. Some furnishings pictured in the listing are different, so not as comfortable to lounge in as we hoped during nap time for our preschooler.

Extremely dissatisfied
We were unable to stay in the house for even one of our three nights due to the overwhelming smoke smell in the bedrooms. Listed as a non-smoking property, this was obviously not the case. We tried to stay for a few hours and power through, but it was overwhelming, and then we found a cigar butt on the floor by the bed. We decided to leave as this was not as advertised. The location of the house was fine, in a good central location. The house itself was generally clean, though the furniture in the living areas and kitchen was very sparse. The couch in the living room was not the one in the pictures and much less inviting and comfortable. The kitchen was just strange, with a big wall of windows leading to the backyard and padlocked gate into a restaurant parking lot. It probably wouldn't have felt so strange if it had been included in the pictures, but instead felt like an empty house that hosted house parties on the regular. The bathroom was old, but ok. We messaged the host as we were leaving late that night and he responded fairly quickly, though we did not connect over the phone until our trip to Houston was over. They did refund 2 of the 3 nights but at a much lower rate, resulting in a refund of about 1/4 of our total cost. Would not recommend.
