!Brand new! Sled Trail Access. 6 minutes to Houlton
This new apartment unit was just completed in mid 2024. It is located only 6 minutes outside of Houlton in a quiet country setting. The unit is handicap accessible with no steps at the front or back doors, wide hallways, and 3' doorways in every room. This is a spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom home. The master bedroom has a queen bed, amazing views, and a large walk in closet. The large master bathroom has a custom tiled shower and plenty of storage space. The second bedroom has both a full bed and a twin bed. The second large bathroom has a tub/shower combo. The open concept kitchen and living room area has high lofted ceilings and would be great for family gatherings. The large kitchen is ideal for those looking to save some of their vacation budget by preparing food themselves. An air mattress could be set up in the living area if extra sleeping space is needed. A heat pump system provides both air conditioning and heat for quiet comfort throughout the year. A large pantry with washer/dryer is available right off the kitchen. Wireless internet. A gas grill is provided seasonally for outdoor cooking. The front door has a keypad for easy access. Garage not included in the rental. Nestled between several large fields, the amazing views will provide you with both sunrises, sunsets, and often wildlife spotting. This building is located on 7-1/2 quiet acres with access to the ITS 83 snowmobile trail on the back property line. Nearby 4-wheeler trails are also a popular recreational activity in the area but are not accessible directly from the property unless by road. Many lakes and rivers for boating, fishing, and swimming are within short driving distance. The Houlton Golf Course is only 6 minutes away by car. Interstate 95 and Route 1 can each be reached by car in 10 minutes. We do not allow pets or smoking in the house. Some guests may have allergies to pets and in fairness to them we are unable to make exceptions to this policy. If you need additional space, check out our new unit just completed on the other side, Meadow Lane.

Great list cation for a very peaceful relaxing stay. Tim and Amy were wonderful hosts. Anyone who visited with us loved the place! Disappointed we didn’t see any wildlife but not the owners fault the deer didn’t cooperate!
This property is so beautiful inside and out! We were ATVing during the day and it was so noce to come back to this lovely house at the end of the day. We will definitely consider staying thete again!
We stayed here for the softball tournament in Houlton with my almost 9 month old and my spouse. We could not have asked for a better weekend here. We pulled in a caught the most beautiful sunset upon arrival and have a gorgeous view of the land behind the house. Personal touches inside made it feel like home. We will be back!! Can’t wait to stay again. Thank you guys!
This property was perfect for me and my daughter and son-inlaw to stay at while attending my granddaughter’s graduation.
The property was immaculate and everything you could want was supplied. We were lucky enough to meet the owners who were very nice and friendly.
I would definitely stay there again if the need arises.
Thank you Tim and Amy for your hospitality.
Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay. Host was the best I’ve ever had! Before the stay asked if there was a blow dryer. They provided a brand new one for my stay before I arrived there! They knew I was bringing my 10 month old son and provided a pack and play (w/ sheets) and a chair with tray top. They went above and beyond! Property is new, very clean, yard is very well maintained and has wild raspberries on the property as well. Would totally stay here again when visiting family in the area! Thank you Tim and Amy for everything!!
There are not enough good words to accurately capture the beauty of this home and its surroundings. 10 stars out of 10! Would definitely stay here again!
LOCATION: Located in the country (but all paved roads) was perfect to unwind and relax. Houlton was a quick drive away for any groceries if wanting to cook for yourself. The view from the back of the home begged for a moose to come strolling out from the distant tree line or a perfect inspiration for painting/capturing the beauty of fall landscapes. The front of the house is a typical home but when viewing the sunrise in the morning, makes for an amazing show! Add a few clouds for the beams to bounce against and every color is represented.
INSIDE: The house is warm, cozy, spacious, and gives the feeling of 'brand new' and very welcoming. Each room had the ability to regulate the heat and ceiling fans for those of us who like air movement. The kitchen had everything one would need to whip up a meal or slow cook a roast in the crockpot. A grill was available to enjoy teriyaki pheasant bites and cedar plank walleye one evening. There was a washer and dryer right off the kitchen.
HOSTS: Tim and Amy were WONDERFUL! They were very responsive to messages, always friendly, receptive, and kind. We had a few unique requests (BTW - our requests were not related in any way to the lack of amenities at the home), and they respectfully listened and trusted us, which in today's world is risky. They are a great example of country kindness.
