Woodsy Lake Retreat

Nestled in a pine forest with 90 feet of frontage at the end of Birchwood Bay on beautiful lake Hamilton Arkansas This unique 4+ bedroom 3.5 bath is close to Oaklawn Park Horse racing and Casino, shopping, Garvin Woodland gardens, mineral baths and so much more. The home sleeps 10 friendly and has sit down meal seating for a dozen or more. For those of you who need an office, there is a great space overlooking the back deck and the lake. I prefer staying here than my own home.

Great stay!! Perfect location
The house was perfect for what we needed. We loved being on the lake and being able to rent the boat for a day. The owner was very communicative and came early one morning to set everything up for the boat. Great trip!!

Great Stay and Location
We and our extended family enjoyed our stay. Check in and the host were good and easy to work with. The inside of the house had plenty of room and amenities for our large group. The location was also great in order to get into Hot Springs and the surrounding area easily.

Summer getaway
This was the summer getaway we were hoping for! The home was plenty big for our entire group to spread out and relax. A quick drive to everywhere that we wanted to go in Hot Springs. Jim was attentive and quick to respond to any questions we had. Would definitely recommend!

House is in a good location and in a cove on the lake. Quiet neighborhood and easy to get to and a pizza place close by. Large kitchen with plenty of counter space.

This was our 2nd time staying here. We love everything about it. It’s spacious, great location, clean, and has everything you need including games, ping pong, popcorn machine, tv, and boat rental. Jim couldn’t be nicer or more accommodating. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay, location was great and easy to get to and quiet but close to everything we wanted to do. Access to the boat was a huge plus. We had 6 adults and were all comfortable and plenty of room to hang out together and quiet time away. Highly recommend; and we will be booking again.

Couldn’t ask for a better location!
Great place for an extended or large family in Hot Springs! Great location to get to town quickly for dinner or the store and quick to Bathhouse Row if you’re there for sightseeing. Property was on a nice, quiet street, with more than enough indoor and outdoor space for everyone, including our little dog (with a fenced in yard!) The beds were all very comfortable and the kids enjoyed the hot tub!

Awesome eclipse spot!
I booked this property 2 years in advance for the 2024 eclipse and I'm so happy I did! We rented the boat and saw the eclipse from the middle of the lake. Stunning!

Hot Springs getaway
Functionally a great place to stay for a small group. The place was clean and the beds were comfortable. The only negative is that the place could use a painting and minor upgrades to bathrooms and doors.

Beautiful home right on the water. Property manager had very quick response times to questions. Large deck with hot tub. Ping pong in the garage was fun. Should have stayed longer and taken the boat out for a day!

Highly Recommended!
What a great place to stay in Hot Springs. The location is perfect and very peaceful. The outdoor dock area was the perfect place to relax after long days on the motorcycle. The interior was very spacious and accommodated 3 couple with no problems. Minutes from everything but felt farther due to the quiet. We will definitely stay here next time we travel to Hot Springs.

Pleasant with some limitations for handicapped.
It is a very nice space for families. The multiple brick stairs and levels of stairs are an issue for handicapped persons might be an issue. Bathrooms have no hand rails. Had a great time though. The Property manager was very helpful with questions we had.

Great Property and Owner
We really enjoyed our stay at the house. The owner met us there upon arrival as we also rented the boat during our stay and he gave us a quick overview of the lake and the boat. It was nice to have a boat right outside our back door rather than having to go to the marina to rent one. The house was great and had plenty of room and amenities. We will be back at some point in the future.

Amazing space …. Beautiful multilevel home overlooking water, with deck, hot tub, fireplace…. James was accommodating and available. Our family had a fabulous time in his wonderful home.Neighbors friendly and helpful. We hope to be back soon!

Good Stay
The home was clean and as pictured. Like other review said it is much bigger in person and there was plenty of room for the entire family to have their own space. We enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace. Minor cosmetic work would make this home better and the kitchen was not as well stoked as other VRBOs I've stayed in. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Winter stay
The home was very lovely and the back deck and dock was beautiful despite the water level being quite low this time of year. The home is minutes from downtown Hot Springs and just a short drive to Garvan Woodland Gardens. My only suggestion would be to replace the front door lock as it is temperamental. Overall I would definitely recommend a stay here.
