Great short family vacation
The pool was great for the kids. Private dock was perfect for our boat. Close to town and attractions. Comfortable beds and enough room enough for everyone’s privacy. The whole family had a comfortable stay.

Wonderful place
Our family can together from several states and met up at this home. It is so beautiful and had plenty of room for us all to stay. We had a fabulous time together. The pool and boating on the lake were wonderful.

The location of the home was great for lake use and outdoor activities. The pool and hot tub were great. The owner was friendly and was available for any issues. Overall one of the best Vrbo experiences I have had. Will definitely be booking again in future. Great place for families, large or small.

A great experience! The owner was very responsive! The property was very clean and had everthing we could have asked for. My only suggestion would be to install handrails in/out of the pool and hot tub to make them more accessible to all ages.

Summer Vacay
We truly enjoyed our week at this wonderful lake location. Every one in the party had a great time. There was plenty of room to play games, cook and relax. Loved all the space in the backyard which allowed us ample room to play several games. Look forward to coming back next year.

Week at the Lake
We had everything we needed to have a nice family get together. Plenty of room for our large party of 12, we all had our on separate space. Plenty of towels, dishes, spices, and other amenities for our stay. The boat dock was great for our two boats and we enjoyed even fishing off the dock. Joy was very responsive to any questions we had, and even cleaned the pool out for us after a storm.

Family Vacation
We loved our stay at Hamilton Lake House property. It was everything we had hoped for and so much more. The house is large and equipped with everything that we could have ask for and more. The host is gracious and went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was pleasant. Southern hospitality at its finest. Thank you for allowing us to share your home! If we are ever back in the area we will most certainly be booking another stay. Five plus star rating.

Great house for a big group!
The Kneggs family had a great time at this river front house. A storm knocked out power the first night but we made it an adventure. Neighbors came over to check on us and keep us posted on ETA to get the power back on. There are lots of stairs in this house so maybe not for the elderly. AC worked great to keep us cool. Kids loved the pool. Plenty of dishware, pots and pans which sometimes can be lacking in rentals. Needs a couple of towel hooks in the bath. Lots of memories.

PERFECT IN EVERY WAY
Our stay at this property was perfect in every way! The house allowed our family of 7 adults and 5 children plenty of space to gather for together for meals and family visiting yet plenty of space to spread out when we wanted to do different activities....such as watching different TV shows in different areas (we had a little rain during our stay) and playing games. The house itself was more than comfortable with everything we wanted or needed. The pool area was great....those who wanted to swim could do so while those who preferred not to swim had plenty of seating to relax poolside. The yard and dock areas were incredible......plenty of room for our little guys to fish and tons of room for outdoor games and play. We loved everything about this property, and we plan to book again soon for next summer's family gathering!

Sister Trip
Each year we take a sister trip along with our mom and her best friend. The property was exactly as pictured. We enjoyed the beautiful yard and lake view. We stayed in the pool quite a bit and just lounged around the deck area. The only drawback was the hot tub was not working but Joy addressed the issue and it was something totally out of her control. As stated in other reviews, the steps are quite steep but we had no issues with navigating them. It was a weekend filled with laughs, food and fun! Thank you Joy for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful property!

a little disappointed.
was a nice place but a few difficulties were encountered. ice maker that was advertised was not working. when host was informed stated "thank you, yes it has been broken for about a month", grill was filthy and had to be cleaned before it could be used (we cleaned it when we were done). TV in bedroom wasnt working properly and while normally not a big issue given my wife's health issues it was. host did come over to try to fix but also could not figure it out. there were two cats on the property and we were not informed of this. two of the guests are allergic to cats. we should have been made aware of the cats. it was the consensus of the group that we could probably do better next year for our sibling weekend.

Great accommodations for each age in our family! The pool and property were great! Being a three-story property, the stairs were a bit challenging for the older ones but it was ok! It was great to all be together and there was enough for each of us to enjoy what we wanted to do separately too!!

4th of July Family Trip
This property was pretty great for our family--me, my 3 sons and their families. The house was a perfect size for all of us. The grandkids had a wonderful time playing in their room, playing games and puzzles, swimming in the pool and fishing at the dock every day. There were a few minor issues and Joy responded quickly and efficiently. Some of my favorite things were the conveniences this property supplied. Some places don't supply a good amount supply based on the time period the property is rented. Supplies such as: trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels, dishwashing detergent, and laundry detergent. We didn't have to purchase any of these supplies while there. That means so much to a family. The kitchen supplies were awesome. We had all the baking supplies we needed, plenty of platters, cutting boards and plenty of storage containers for leftovers! They also supplied extra beach towels and a box of pool toys, so we didn't have to worry about those either. The 4th of July was happening all around us--neighbors across the lake and on each side of us--set off really nice fireworks and we were able to see them from the big picture window in the air-conditioning--after the little ones went to bed! I wish it had a few more rooms so our whole family would be able to come and fit! I will definitely keep it on our list to return someday when our out of state family can't come, like this year.

Great Stay
House was awesome, stocked, clean, and very spacious. Pool and wharf on the lake were a great addition. Home owner is very friendly and accommodating. Would and plan to stay here again any day.
