Staying in a casa felt like a more authentic visit and we found it pleasantly relaxing. I even used the washing machine and hung clothes out to dry in the island air! The WiFi was excellent but the casa lacked air conditioning and the mattress was hard, yet we were happy with what we gained in rural atmosphere.

Muito agradável, a casa não seria a melhor do que aparecia nas fotos mas correspondia no todo a uma boa aplicação do valor pago. Pôr do Sol lindissimo a apreciar do exterior que era muitissimo agradável.

l meglio delle Azzorre
Un'esperienza indimenticabile! Una casa in pietra sulla collina, pulitissima, fornita di tutto e perfettamente funzionale. Accoglienza perfetta gestita da Nuno Rosa. Kit di benvenuto (ottima la marmellata al melone!). Ma ciò che faceva veramente la differenza era la terrazza con tavolini, sedie e sdraio rivolta verso il mare in lontananza e direttamente verso i meravigliosi tramonti delle Azzorre. Parcheggio interno. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Il mio appartamento era quello chiamato Azalea, ma credo che giudizi simili si possano dare agli altri appartamenti. E' a 20 minuti di macchina da Horta, ma molto vicino all'aeroporto, alla meravigliosa zona del Capelinho e alle stupende piscine naturali di Varadouro.

Very nice house with all the comfort
We really enjoyed our dtay in Casas do Capelo. We were welcomed by Amparo who explained everything. The house has everything you need: washing machine, coffee machine, water heater, 2 bathrooms, 2 sleeping rooms, bbq outside, kitchen, ... Amparo even had eggs, water, milk, tea and coffee as a welcome gift for us! We would definately come again! 5***** for Amparo and the Casa do Capole

Komfortabel, sauber, wunderschöne Lage.
Das Appartement vermittelt einen Hauch von Luxus, ist eine Augenweide und sehr geräumig und modern. Es hat eine wunderschöne Lage mit Blick hinunter auf eine Steilküste (auch wenn die Sicht durch ein verfallenes Gebäude davor ein klein wenig getrübt wird, aber das Gebäude stört nicht wirklich. Etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig ist beim ersten Mal die Dusche, da der Übergang zwischen kalt und heiß und umgekehrt abrupt stattfindet. Hat man den Dreh aber mal draußen, dann funktioniert's. Super Service: Zur Unterkunft wurde man geleitet (Treffpunkt in Areeiro) da es etwas abseits liegt (Ort Varadouro). Die Straße dorthin ist in einem einwandfreien Zustand. Die Dame, die uns zur Unterkunft führte, war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zum Flughafen sind es ca. 20 Minuten, nach Horta ca. 30 Minuten. Im nahegelegenen Ort Areeiro gibt es einen kleinen Tante-Emma-Laden, der auch am Sonntagvormittag auf hat und wo man sich mit den Notwendigsten versorgen kann. Der Internet-Empfang ist überhaupt kein Problem. Hat man einen Mietwagen, so ist der Ort optimal für Ausflüge. Auch ein gut angelegter Meerespool befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe, wo man inmitten von Lava-Gestein baden kann (an Wochenenden stark frequentiert).

Gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis
Der Betrieb besteht aus mehreren Häusern an unterschiedlichen Stellen Faials. Zumindest mein Haus in Varadouro war sehr gepflegt und super sauber. Es hatte alles, was man braucht. Lage und Blick sind sehr idyllisch. Die Vermieterfamilie gibt sich jede Mühe, den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten.
