"The Mankr is glorious. Accurate pictures on the site plus so much more. An absolutely beautiful home and a very special treat for a group ."

"Stayed for a long weekend and had a wonderful time. Place was well furnished and location idyllic. Swimming pool was a good size. Coast and nice towns all in easy reach. Had 5 kids who all had an amazing time just strolling around and playing in the fields, parks and play areas"

"We loved our stay at the house. So well equipped and spacious. We especially loved jumping in the hot tub in the evening and relaxing. Host was quick to respond whem we had an issue (make sure you check the pull out drawer in the top of the dishwasher for cutlery 😆) quite remote but that part of the charm - just don't expect anyone to be able to deliver a take away. Was perfect for our friend group as we could all have our own bedroom. Would definitely stay again."

"Kirsty was a responsive and helpful host. The cottage was cosy and as described. Excellent place to stay in Sherborne as it was near to the town and amenities. "

"Couldn’t be happier with our choice of hotel room. We didn’t arrive until about 1930hrs, but was greeted by a lovely lady on reception, who asked if we wanted to eat that evening (which we didn’t) & if we needed breakfast (which we didn’t). We paid our £10 as we had been successful in an upgrade request online earlier in the day &, boy, was it worth it. A stunning view from our room (107) of the garden & golf course. The room was very clean, comfortable & quiet. I have to be honest, we didn’t eat here as we couldn’t afford the extra on top, so we provided our own food. Would definitely stay here again. Our daughter is at Bath university, so we probably will! "

"Views of the Cathedral. Excellent location. Delicious Italian restaurant on-site with many options all around. Andy (manager) and the entire staff so friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for the price - 2 star at 4 star service. Parking not that convenient, but that is expected. "

"Looks great from outside, and very welcoming from the start. The rooms are clean and spacious with great quirky decor and a very comfortable bed. We used the bar and restaurant during our stay and found the food very good and the service excellent. Staff were friendly, and the breakfast was tasty with lots of choice. We would definitely stay again."

"Easy check in. We had parked elsewhere as underground carpark appeared closed but apparently you have to get a code from reception to use their carpark. Breakfast very good indeed. Lady serving breakfast is excellent at her job. Would stay again. Room 5 was quiet, could do with a lick of paint but very clean. "
