"This property is apparently owned by the Episcopal Church yet it is a full use public hotel. The grounds were impeccable with hiking trails, a small lake, wooded surroundings, isolated yet accessible, I loved it. A full buffet style breakfast, not like the type you typically find in chain hotels but like a restaurant. The rooms are a little dated but very clean, no television which was actually nice. Highly recommend!"

"Breakfast buffet was very good. Appreciated having a small sofa in our room. One small issue was the sliding door to bathroom, when slid open, went over the electric switch. Bumped and needed to push out on the door to get it open. Really appreciated that we arrived the night before hurricane Helene hit the area, with a booked two night stay, and there was zero hassle cancelling the 2nd night so we could leave the area. Much appreciated! "
