"This is an excellent choice of hotel for anyone operating on a modest budget. Clean, comfy bed, a lounge where you can read with a hot drink and super breakfast - lots of hot and cold options. Close to metro, shops, good bars, safe. Staff were pleasant and helpful - couldn't recommend more highly."

"I liked this hotel much better than a large chain hotel as it had character and the food was good, though the portions are small. It was an excellent place to stay for our first day in Sweden. "

"Really lovely hotel in an interesting old building and setting. The staff were really good and plenty of choice at breakfast. Good location near lots of restaurants and bars, minutes from Metro but on quiet street."

"Trying to be both a hostel and a hotel and mostly succeeding but misses a few obvious things that usually come with hostels like a laundry service and somewhere to lock valuables - had no choice but to sleep with mine under my pillow. Also no way to drop off the key when i left at 8am. Minor things all in all because location is great and hostel room was comfortable! great option for the price, very easy to get to and from airport "

"Do not stay here. The sinks are falling off the walls, and having food in your room is prohibited (this is a hostel, not a kindergarten). In addition, I felt it would be easy for someone to gain access to my room. It was quite subpar."

Absolutely phenomenal experience

"It was our first time to Stockholm (in Sweden, in general!) and I had low expectations. I wasn’t familiar with the area, and it was pretty cheap. My expectations were low, but I thought, what the hey, we won’t be in our room much. But this hotel was gorgeous. It smells nice, it’s very clean, it’s in an amazing location (right by the metro, easy access to everything in Stockholm!), the neighborhood it is located called Södermalm is very upscale and there’s lots of cute places to eat and explore nearby, the continental breakfast spread is amazing and the staff were all outstanding and so friendly! The rooms are on the smaller side, but that’s pretty standard for European hotel rooms. They were immaculate, though! And it was bigger than my hotel room in Manhattan. Beds were cozy, too, and the bathrooms were nice! Also, there is no bathtub. Not sure if that’s all rooms or just mine (I booked the most basic one since it was just my eight year old daughter and I!) either way no big deal. If you are considering a visit to Stockholm (which I also recommend!), I cannot sing higher praises of this hotel. We WILL be back!!! "
